Thx. – Changing Buffer doesn’t seem to impact the processor utilization a whole lot.Īny thoughts, and any other info I can help with? Maybe less with 1024 but latency is way too high. Not sure I’m noticing much difference in jitter. – I’ve played with the Buffer up to 1024. – Processor utilization hangs around 60% when playing “normal” and 88%-92% when playing at a faster rate with more fills – seems to get worse with lots of cymbals(?) – When playing “hard and fast” audio gets very jittery on a pretty consistent basis. – Sound libraries on External Samsung USB 3 SSD – This drive is only used to hold the SD3 sound library – I’m playing the kit “live” through the TD-12 – Roland TD12 kit with various Roland Cymbal and Pad upgrades- Just a 5 piece kit with 3 cymbals and 1 single kick pedal (no crazy quad pumping) – Plantronics USB to Audio (just a basic USB to Audio Out Interface- Maybe this is the problem) – 2015 13″ MBP 3.1Ghz i7 16BG/512 10.13.4 – This machine was just wiped with a fresh install of OS X with very little added besides SD3 I’m definitely getting consistent audio jitter when playing “live”. Hey John- Finally had a chance to sit down and really dig in. So, the question is, how does Product Manager with when SD3 libraries are all on an external drive? – When I try to download and install any of my EZXs, they are also still trying to install into the local library folder. – When I try to install them, they are trying to install to the local Toontrack folders within MacintoshHD>Library>Application Support>EZDrummer folder – What is really strange is that even the SD3 libraries are trying to install to this local EZDrummer folder. – When I open the Toontrack product manager, I see there are updates to a couple of the sound libraries. – I have NOT installed EZDrummer or any of the libraries yet. – I then changed the library location path within SD3. I put both of the folders into a folder called ‘Toontrack Drum Libraries’. – BUT, due to space, I then copied the ‘Superior Drummer’ and the ‘EZDrummer’ folders from MacintoshHD>Library>Application Support to an external drive. – Downloaded SD3, all the libraries in addition to the SD2.0 Avatar core library and installed them on my local computer. – Fresh install of SD on a fresh MacBook Pro 2015 with an SSD Nice work.īut, I’ve run into some confusion around installation, updates, and sound libraries with the software is on an external drive. Howdy- Just upgraded to SD3 and its freaking amazingly great.
